In its true definition CrossFit is “CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.” But, in its practical, everyday life application definition, it’s hands-on fitness at it finest.
CrossFit Cornelius group class is a general strength and conditioning class where you’ll learn and develop the foundational components of fitness. These classes are the backbone of what we do here. The group class encourages community, camaraderie, individual performance/progress and fun. You will learn and practice the basics of powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, basic gymnastic, bodyweight movements, proper running mechanics and much more.
You will always receive instruction from a CrossFit certified trainer and will consistently be coached to ensure that you are performing all movements in a safe and efficient manner. Everyone works hard, but no one will be asked to do things they can’t safely do. Everything we do in the group class can be modified to meet the athlete’s individual needs. Classes are scheduled in one hour increments throughout the day and include a warm-up, skill work, strength & conditioning and mobility.
